When we launched Botanic Shed, we knew that we wanted the work we do to change children and young people’s lives, so it was decided that the business would donate a percentage of the fees it generates to charity.
We do this because we want to see young people being better equipped to thrive during school years and beyond. In the last three years, the likelihood of young people having a mental health problem has increased by 50%. Now, five children in a classroom of 30 are likely to have a mental health problem.
So, we've chosen to support Jamie’s Farm - a brilliant initiative which acts as a catalyst for change, enabling disadvantaged young people to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. They do this through a unique residential experience and a rigorous follow-up programme, combining farming, family and therapy.
